No more checking eight different social media pages just to figure out who is parked where today. With FoodTrucksMove.com, everything you need is on one single mobile-first app.
We are officially opening up our QA Test Run, and we need YOU - both food truck goers and truck operators - to jump in, break things, and help us test the app before our official production launch. The test sandbox is live right now at: https://qa.foodtrucksmove.com.
Here is how you can get involved and what you can do on the platform today:
For the Food Truck Fanatics:
- Create an Account Instantly: We use secure authentication, meaning you can sign up in just a few seconds using your Google account or email.
- Explore the Map: See what's active in your area with our clean, ad-free map interface. You can hit the "Find Near Me" button to track down the closest tacos or BBQ via your browser's native geolocation.
- Favorite Your Go-To Trucks: Found a truck you love? Hit the heart toggle on their profile. Your favorite trucks will automatically show up on your personalized profile page, and their markers will pulse and glow right on the map whenever they check in!
For the Food Truck Operators:
We want you to treat this test run like a dress rehearsal for your business. For this QA phase, everything is free and we are giving you "fake money" to test our premium features!
- Claim Your Truck: Search our database, find your truck, click "Own this truck?", and test out our ownership verification flow. You’ll download a custom, stamped verification image to your device, then upload it to your social media platform of choice, which ensures you are the rightful owner.
- Broadcast Your Location: Drop a pin exactly where you're parked, set your start and end times, and watch your truck go live on the map! Forgot to end your shift? Our automated systems clean up expired check-ins every 15 minutes.
- Advertise with "Fake Money": Test out our upcoming premium advertising slots! Go to "My Truck(s)", select "Advertise this truck", And you'll see that you have been gifted with $25 of fake advertising money. Run through the advertising process, select the days and type of advertisement you want, then click "Book Add Time".
Why are we doing a QA run?
We are dedicated to building a platform that is text-forward, ultra-clear, and fast - created to work well on a phone out in a parking lot between rush hours. But development can only catch so much. We need real people clicking buttons, uploading images, and dropping location pins to make sure our database, image hosting, and notification loops are completely rock-solid.
